Saturday Shout Out; Guest Coach John Jakubik

First things first, good morning everybody! Rise and shine and get this beautiful weekend started off how it needs to.

Wake up and hit a lead off double.

Get yourself ahead of the pack and push yourself just a little bit harder today.

As you may have noticed by the title, I am starting something new this weekend. A guest series that I am going to call Saturday Shout Out.

I am going to call and speak with one person every week who I believe fits the mold of the content that I try to put out, and let them add a little bit of their own flavor.

This weekend, my first guest is John Jakubik. I met him a few years ago while I was playing college football, he had been hired as one of the assistant coaches at the school I was playing at.

His tenure didn’t last too long there, but in that short time we developed a pretty solid relationship before he went on his way to bigger and better things.

We really didn’t stay in touch all that much once he left, but we both recently started posting content and blogs and such at the same time and found that we both tend to talk about very similar topics, but we each have our own spin on things.

Check out his website CoachKub.comand see what he can offer to you. In my honest opinion, his stuff is amazing.

I spoke with him a few days ago and wanted to highlight some of the things from our conversation.

He recently just went through a pretty big move, going from Ohio all the way to Florida.

In his journey to the south, he has came across a few bumps in the road and had to change his course a little bit. Did he let that slow him down? Absolutely not.

Instead of sitting around and sulking about the difficulties he began to face, he decided to get to work.

This is part of the process that became his website and podcast.

Another thing I want to mention about our conversation is that he introduced me to two excellent platforms that can help me extend my reach and continue to grow my brand.

As he taught me something, I also think I helped him in a sense. Having just published The Mindset Muscle I was able to give him a little bit of insight in to getting started producing an E-Book.

I say this because we both were able to come away from our conversation with a little bit of extra knowledge and power.

Had we not hopped on the phone, neither of us would have gained that.

Much like I mentioned in my email yesterday morning, it can be so beneficial for you to stay in contact with people from your past that you feel are on the same path and have the same vision as you do.

Thank you to John for the conversation!

Thanks.
